| I miss the rural life. Living in a city makes me a nervous wreck, and I actually had a panick attack today when I had to give a presentation in front of a group of people I've never seen before. It doesn't help that I seclude myself, but that's what I've always been used to. I miss my backwoods home... Sometime in the distant future, I hope to get filthy rich and buy my own mountain. That would suit me fine... It isn't that I don't like people---on the contrary, I love them---it's just that I can't communicate with any one. Sure, I can talk, but when I do no one understands what I'm trying to say. On top of that, they can't get past the fact that I can't say things right, use antiquated terms, use words from foreign languages, and that they can't relate to me to save their life. I know you all hear this too much, but it ain't easy being me. And I hate to ask this, but does anyone ever read this page anymore? Back when I was at ATU, I used to have regular interactions with tons of people, but that dropped off when I went to Basic Training. After that, it seems no one stops by anymore. I don't think I should close down the page, but... | | |
| My sentiments on living in a city coincide almost exactly with this... hope the link works... | | |
| I think I just disowned my older brother. The stupid asshole chose his former tormenter over me years ago, and I'm sick of him telling me to get over what he doesn't have a single idea about. So...I'm done with him. If he pushes it, it'll be permanent and I'll refuse to talk to him even on my deathbed. It's nice to find out that you've been blackmailing your father if not shamelessly harrasing him for money. It's nice to learn second hand that you mistreat your younger brother and sisters and pick fights with your stepmom, strangely when you're getting along with everyone. My brother has such kind words from everyone but loves to give me a ration of shit---and I hate to break it to the retard, but every last person in the house badmouth's his marriage any chance they get. And I'm not a dick enough to tell him that just to spite everyone like my stepmom apparently has been doing to me. What the hell is a blood relation worth now, anyway? That's my only full-blooded sybling, but that means shit to him. He may be what I'm not, but in retrospect he's always been an idiot looking for trouble. He's burning the damn bridges, not me, and I will not take his shit anymore. I don't have to. | | |
| Everyone keeps calling me a pessimist. What's so wrong about that? | | |
| (Disclaimer: this is my personal opinion and does not reflect on the opinion held by the United States Government or the United States Air Force.) http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080303/ap_on_re_mi_ea/israel_deadly_drones Read that. Let me put my two cents in now---WTF!?! You mean to tell me that Palestinians don't have a problem strapping bombs to their chests and blowing up a pizza parlor, but when someone can kick ass from miles away and do the same dirty work, they have a problem? Or is this a case of it being wrong when the other guy does it? This is about as stupid as the Iranian president saying that we're the one's fueling the violence or the Serbs blaming their rioting on us---political hokey pokey. I'm personally against the mechinization of war because it's too impersonal, but it's stupid to randomly jab a finger and say that it's too much when you do worse than the other guy. I will say, though, that the I like how the Israelis began negotiations with the retards---sending a missile to their president's fence post and sending missiles into everything else. The Hamas and the Fatah boys won't quit their rocket attacks on civilians, so I don't see a reason that Israel should let up. I can only wonder how this all will end, and to answer the "Peace in the Middle East" question, I don't really see much an end for anything. This whole thing will go on until no one has the mobility and technology to fight, and that won't happen any time soon unless the M.E. gets scrapped for cash. ...Alternate fuel sources NOW. | | |
